Lee n Tan

Well its Mid June ‘07 & I’m still at Clive Anthony’s, we have settled into surban life. We are currently renting a house up Elanora only 3 km inland from the beach. Weeks just seem to roll but but still no progress in a business to buy or set up.

In Feb ‘07 Tan & I planned to move to NZ. This did not work out quite as planned. Then I had plans to travel between Gold Coast & the hunter where Brian & I were to open a 2nd shop in the hunter. This also did not go to plan, Council & a few other issues stopped this idea approx 2.5 mths into the planning. Now looking for opportunities a little closer to home. Tan is loving her job & has no plans for change.

So I will have to patient & see what come my way!!

Both Tan & I are well & currently trying to lose a few pounds. We have purchased ourselves a Cross Trainer. Today I did 11.5 kms in 30mins on this. Its a very good low impact work out, that works both upper & lower body.

Looking forward to the next few weeks, Titans vs Warriors at Carrara, then same week 3rd Origin Game at Suncorp. We have tickets to both. The following weekend is Sofija & Anthonys Wedding ( Tans Hair Dresser). We have been warned it will be crazy. They are both Croatian.

2 weekends ago we stayed in Brisbane & went to the Broncos / Dragons Game (Finals). The Broncos got trashed & was not that greater game. It was still good to get away from the Coast for the weekend.

Last weekend I had an Underwater Hockey Tournament: Qld State Titles ‘06

The turn out was very poor, but goods games of hockey were played & the Bullrouts were victorious once again!!!

We have been looking arround a houses in Palm Beach. Think we will wait until we have sold our appartment but we will see.

Well what a day! I had never been in such a small plane before so it was a different experience. The day turned out to be beautiful a few clouds a round but still around 22-23c. We went for a big long walk around the top end of the island near Jumpin Bar and then we sat down for our seafood lunch, champagne & beer. All in all the day was very relaxing even had a bit of a snooze in the sun. The only disappointment was that they dropped us near a heap of boats so it really wasn’t very secluded or romantic as there were people around us all day! Our flight back was great came in near Surfers so got a few good pics (see Gallery).

Well have we been busy over the last couple of months, July especially! We have been Whale Watching with Tan’s workmates another treat from the bosses, Go Karting with the Underwater Hockey crew, went to the Bledisloe in Brisbane with Kelly & Penny and have just got back from a weekend in Tassie for Tan’s aunties 50th. Hopefully life will slow down just a little over the next month so we can catch a breath. Tomorrow we are off on a Seaplane Adventure here on the coast. We get picked up near the Southport Pool and then we are dropped off somewhere on one of the beaches in the Broadwater for a Seafood Picnic with everything supplied. The whole thing was given to us by Tan’s work as a little Thank you.

The weather today is just glorious about 23-24c a magic winters day on the coast, hopefully tomorrow will be the same might even go for a dip I know we will definetely get a suntan!

We are now home & have been very busy. We have attended Leah & Brentons Wedding. Leah looked great!!Had a mad day of drinking champane & playing 2up with Craig & Josie on ANZAC Day,Then we spent 3 unforgetable days on Moreton Island with 30 of our Underwater Hockey Friends .

And yes we did go back to work some where in the middle of all this fun.

Well we fly to Bangkok tonight - have to keep our eyes open until we board the plane at 11.55pm.
